Into the unknown

As kids,
We want to get older
We want to get away from the annoyance
We want to get away rules.
As innocent kids.
As teenagers,
We get a taste of the freedom.
We get a taste of adulthood.
We get a taste of independence.
And we want it.
As ignorant teenagers.
As a young adult,
We begin to realize our mistake.
We begin to question our decisions.
We begin to get lost.
As exploring young adults.
How far we are thrown,
How off balance we land.
How heavy we fall,
How lost we get.
Into the unknown,
Where anything goes.
Where dreams run away,
And problems chase you down.
Where love is hatred,
And feelings unfound.
Where laughter is a treasure,
And peace is gold.
Into the unknown.
Where no one knows what the future holds.
