I hear them talking and laughing
All around me
But I don't feel their warmth
Surround me
It's too difficult to explain
What makes me pull away
I want to linger here
Yet I don't want to stay
I guess you could call me an introvert
And I couldn't take offense
The walls are high that surround me
I have no real defense
