Invisibility is a curious state.
A cloak of silence that seals one's fate. The power to pass unseen.
To slip through the world like a silent dream.
To watch as others thrive and strive, To yearn for connection, to feel a part, yet always apart, forever apart.
Perhaps it's a gift, this veil of shade,
A refuge from a world so harshly made.
A chance to observe, to learn and grow, to see what others may never know. Invisibility, both a curse and a blessing,
A choice we make, is our own confession.
To fade away or to boldly stand.
To be seen by all, or by none at all.
Invisibility, a cloak of disguise.
A power to hide from prying eyes.
A gift to those who crave to blend.
A curse to those who seek to defend.
To some, it's a blessing, a useful tool, to move in silence, to go unnoticed.
To others, it's a burden, a heavy load, to be ignored, forgotten, or left on the road.
But what of those who yearn to be seen?
To be acknowledged, heard, and keen, who long to break free from the chains,
And expose their true selves, with all their pain.
The Invisibility, a paradox, a mystery,
A double-edged sword with a history,
A choice to make, a path to tread,
To hide or reveal, to live or be dead.
