She would binge till tears rolled down her eyes,
To cure this problem, nothing she would ever try,
Cos the only time that she was happy, was when she was eating,
And this was the only act that she would keep on repeating,
She was once a happy, healthy married woman,
But her mind took a toll when her life took a turn,
Her man left her forever calling her an obese,
From that day she befriended fries, extra large burgers with whole lot of cheese,
She made up her mind that a stable life for her is only a dream,
And in her depression would gulp down gallons of ice cream,
She gained thrice the weight in this eating spree,
And she thought that from this Invisible Illness, she can never be free,
Then came the moment, the night of revival,
When in the midst of a binge, she became suicidal,
But she made up her mind to end it all,
At 3 a.m, in despair, a psychologist she called,
She wasn't the only one with this disorder, she reckoned,
To her self worth, she was awakened,
You don't need to turn yourself into some other people's perception,
Cos life is about living on your own terms not dying of depression.
