Oh lord, the day has come,
an important day has just begun !
The early morning sunshine,
wins my heart, truly divine
Oh lord, the crack of dawn starts,
the day on the calendar, we mark in a heart
Oh lord, a noble man was born on this date,
he helped Pakistan achieve a great fate
He was really daring, brave and wise,
not to forget caring and nice
He excelled at poetry, and published many quotes,
his poetry was recorded, and copied onto notes
Every word he said, contained a variety of emotions,
he also possessed, a couple of notions
With his help, us people learnt,
for our country we fought and learnt
Also known as poet of the east,
this man spread a lot of peace !
Who is he, can you guess now,
Allama Iqbal, he deserves a wow !
