Outrageously proud of my Gaelic roots
And my bright green Guinness robe
I'd learn to dance like Flatley
And get to like U2
ry to stop laughing at Sinead O'Connor
Have a second helping of Irish Stew
I'd promote the Craic across the seas
And share my Irish luck with ease
With my Irish charm the girls I'd please
From San Francisco to Belize
When my Navy days are over
I'd look for that special girl
Maybe we would fall In love
Maybe we’d even give marriage a whirl
We'd have some little babies
all with ginger hair
