Ironies that tie knots in your stomach

Ironies don't elude me anymore
they call me by my name;
now and then they touch my skin
leaving my already dry bones dry;
they tell me all sorts of things
they tell me that perchance
good people also deserve bad things
just as bad people deserve
good things.
Similar to how God brings rain
to the just and unjust alike.
