Is Someone There?

In the middle of the night,
You suddenly become aware,
Of someone or something,
Running their hands through your hair!
Your eyes suddenly open,
What the hell was that,
You sit up in your bed,
"I felt something! That's a fact!"
You look around your room,
But no one is there,
"Okay, I'm just tired."
"I must be feeling things, I swear."
You try to go back to sleep,
And twenty or so minutes go by,
When you feel a hand crawl up your shirt!
Help, I don't wanna die!
As you suddenly sit up,
You scramble out of bed,
You look down your shirt,
But it's just you instead.
"Who's there? Where are you at?"
You think: What the hell is going on?
You don't see anyone there,
All the sudden you feel something is wrong.
So, you look around your room,
Without seeing anyone around,
Where could they be hiding?
You haven't seen or heard a sound!
How is this happening?
You think to yourself,
Then, You suddenly notice,
Something was taken from your shelf!
Your heart beat stops!.....
Where did THAT go?
As panic sets in,
"Oh, HELL NO!"
You say out loud to yourself,
As you start to pack,
An overnight bag,
"Not staying here and that's a fact!"
But whatever is there,
In that house with you,
Has no intention,
Of letting you move.
As you're packing your stuff,
The doors quietly lock,
Then, the lights go out,
"Damn, That breaker box!"
I can't see a thing,
You say to yourself,
As a picture of your mom,
Flys off a shelf!
"Is somebody there?"
You ask out loud,
As you stumble around and feel,
For something not found.
"What was that noise?"
You say as you hear,
A voice respond:
"Come a little closer, my dear".
"Holy Shit! Someone's here!"
You say to yourself,
As you scramble for a weapon,
"That's what's missing from the shelf!"
"I'm callin' the cops!"
"So, You better LEAVE NOW!"
"I don't know how you got in,"
"But that doesn't matter, anyhow!"
You say out loud,
To whomever broke in,
Finding a flashlight in a drawer,
Turning it on but the lights dim.
Instantly, the house,
Begins to shake and shutter,
As glass shatters all around you,
"I want my mother!"
And as the walls around you,
Begin to buckle and break,
You scramble for the door,
But it's already too late!
The T.V. falls down,
And hits you in the head,
And as you fade to black,
A voice just said:
See you when you wake!
The End.
