Heavens knows
That all I do , I do with all of me
The Universe knows.
That all I say I mean.
My pain I keep inside
I smile to keep from crying.
I give my last to see you smile.
When my last is done you mock me.
I listen to your worries, to keep from sharing mine.
Yet you keep arguing with me, even when my mouth is shut.
You punch me , when my hands are folded.
You hurt me
I could never hurt you.
Let alone hate you.
I want to see you go up.
But you keep pulling me down.
I can take it all, but one day my body will give up.
I'm only human
In the meantime I will never give you power over me.
So I carry on I love, I care, I give...
Yeah you probably saying I got issues .
Of course I have issues.
