It could have been different

I was walking home from work
A twelve hour shift is not a joke
As I came closer to the rail way
I saw three guys standing there
I greeted then I was on my way
Than I felt an overwhelming fear
I heard a voice said "look back"
And I thought what the heck
They started following me
Than I stood still to see
Two of them turned around when I picked up a stone
Thank you Lord, now we're one on one
And than a Muslim man hit his hooter
Then turned a round the last perpetrator
The good Samaritan took me home
I told him sir I'm glad you came
As I went into my room I was overcomed by tears
I thank God that he has been so near
It could have been different
But God wouldn't allow it
