You know it's crazy
Walking around daily
The world never ceases to amaze me
Seeing things thats just so amazing
Wondering why you would ever do that at all
It just puts me to awe
Looking at the ground
And seeing all the trash around
Can't believe people would just
Discard everything
And don't care if it hits the ground
Looking at all the animals in the pound
And thinking to myself
How can people drop them off
Clear across town
And don't care if someone takes them
And gives them a brighter day
I mean we're all God's creatures
So why live your life like that anyway
Why think anything is beneath you
Even to some people
Their own life is shit too
Like the other day
Some guy took his life away
Because the cops had a warrant for his arrest
He didn't wanna' go away
Failure to appear over a dui charge is one thing
But to take your own life
Man you would have gotten out anyway
Seeing all the posters on the telephone pole
Even though I'm an only child
It still hits so close to home
Another little girl gone missing
You just left their family stressing
It just amazes me
That the time we live in today
It's possible to see
A missing pet flyer next to a missing persons
Tell me what this world is coming to
When you gotta' worry about desertion
When you got to look out your peep hole
Before you can open your door
I bet you God's up there
And He can't take it no more
But, He can't do anything about it
Because He made Himself a promise
That He would never come back again
Only to take the people
Who let love in
But to me it's a fine line
Between abandonment and love
Like back then when they left you on someone else's doorstep
Because i guess they couldn't afford the love
But they wanted you to have a better home
Not thinking how much it's gonna' break their heart
Because now they're all alone
But personally i think you should man up for what you brought
Because there ain't anything more beautiful
Than what God caused
But there ain't nothing left to say
Living in this world today
With all these unanswered questions
People are trying so hard to answer with a desperate face
I guess it's too much to ask
If we can live in a better grace
All these couples getting divorced
Because everyday there life is like a chore
Fighting over the stupidest little things
But i guess really
We should be concentrating on just one thing
But that's when it hurts the most
I'm left standing on my toes
Trying to figure out why He said so
But than again
He wants us to live in a happy home
