when I said hello for the first time it was love.
when I smiled at you for the first time it was love.
when I fell for you it was only love.
when I wanted so bad to kiss you it was only love.
when I saw you cry and wanted to hug you yes it was earth shattering love.
when I wanted to be more than friends it was only love.
when dreams of you wouldn't let me sleep it was only love.
when I wanted to feel your warmth it again was only love.
when I thought about you over and over again I knew it was only love.
when wet dreams of you left me to moan I knew it was only cause I loved you.
and when I finally told you goodbye and my heart ached like a fool I knew it was love.
these unspoken words phrases pleasures I knew it couldn't be nothing but simply love.
you were more than a crush you were my heart entirety my soul's depth.
I wanted to be with you and that somehow surprised me.
I wanted you when I should have been wanting the girl beside me.
I wanted you and I felt nothing could deny me.
such power you had over me I willingly die for you if it called for it.
if anyone hurt you I'd probably kill them probably rip them to shreds and not care about it.
fore you were my everything my kryptonite my reason of existence.
I dreamt of you so blissfully so blindly so foolish.
yet I wanted you so bad I write with blood and ink you were my muse to the thousands of poems to help me through this.
yet it was love and always will be that had you burned inside my mind.
yet I'm in love with another this time.
and as she laid beside me my mind wandered to you in a bed almost vacant yet you are on my mind it was love I knew it I knew it for a long time.
as I take a deep breath I think of you as I run out of time.
inhaling exhaling falling in love with you again in a sacred time.
wishing to feel you not only in my mind.
find the reason for love again for the girl I once tragically left behind.
