It's gotten harder
to be alive
and were all shaking
our leaves
off our tress
to make our hopes
find again
and this pandemic
is keeping me crying
watching CNN
and it's keeping us all inside
to break this string
if we can now
so we can stop
the numbers here
and this world is losing
a lot of people
we all love
and were all fearing
the worst is still
coming
and I need to know
we can get back
to our sunny skies
sooner
than soon again
