as I stare into the darkness
I notice movement
I wish it would go away
I yell and scream
then I notice
it's me
I stare for hours
it comes into the light
and I realize it's starving
I grab some food
and set it infront of me
then in it's hollowed voice
it whispers thank you
as I wake up the next day
nobody believes me
and they say I have let
darkness consume me
So after awhile I learned
it's me...
