Everything is not about you,
Life's bigger than that narrow view,
You may think you're the center of all,
But the world is much broader, beyond your wall.
The sun sets and rises for all,
Not just you, standing tall,
The rain falls on flowers and weeds,
Not just on you and your needs.
People have different stories to tell,
Their lives too, are equally swell,
Respect them, don't be a lout,
Their existence is what life's all about.
Pause and look around,
Many are struggling, fighting each round,
Lend a hand, don't just pursue,
Everything is not about you.
let us all embrace,
Different cultures, lives, and race,
Let us all spread kindness anew,
Coz everything is not about you.
No matter what you might think or do.
It's easy to become self-centered,
But consider others, and you'll be bettered.
Life is full of experiences to share,
And it's about showing that you care.
Step outside of your comfort zone,
And realize you're not alone.
Compassion and kindness go a long way,
They brighten someone's day.
So next time you're feeling down,
Lift someone else up, give them a crown.
It's about showing others love and value,
Together we can make a difference of any
sort.
