I crawled my way back into your bed.
You we're good at convincing me, what I knew stays in my head.
Faintly, I felt that I had lost time.
Merciless, this was my crime.
I loved you, but in reality you we're never mine.
Faintly, I felt that I had lost time.
Sometimes, at night, I lay in his bed and think of what life could of been like, if I just let him go.
The answers, I'll never know.
Painstakingly, I hold back my tears.
Losing him I fear,
He brought me out of this dark place, that I so wanted to be in.
He loved me, oh so I thought,
Just like all the other men.
Now, I drag my feet, to tell the truth of what I know.
It's time that I let him go.
I felt his pain, the same pain, I once felt in my life.
In another world, he has children and a wife.
It's time, I let him know, that its time I let him go.
