It started off so simple
I didn't think it would get so serious
A small cough here
A cute sneeze there
Then it got a lot worse
I was sneezing for longer than I estimated
My sneeze has worsened
And it's no longer cute
The cough is not small anymore
It's loud and painful
It starts so suddenly
And I have to wait it out
I've caught a cold
Can't wait for it to go
