Ivy

Her name's Ivy, she dresses like a villain, I never thought jealousy would feel so much like home. I wear vices like some kind of jewelry, and I wasn't surprised that the shine reflected on me. If vengeance was a sword, i'd kill you with it, but I never thought karma would knock on my door, I can feel it's wrath, cold as ice, dominate my fiery anger. Treachery is the bender of the tangents in my trust, I never thought it would hurt like hell, it was emotional blunting like someone's unmeasured apathy.
Her name's Ivy, she crawls like a monster onto your bed, and once you're vulnerable, she'll get inside of your head. If love was a sword i'd kill you with it, like some suffocation I didn't thought I'd deserve. Overwhelming attention is for fools, but I wouldn't recommend anyone dying alone without a suicide note, 'cause I was so innocent, I thought depression was an oasis so I entered in, it was a paradise I never belonged to, so I swallowed my pride, and cried my tears out in exile.
If torment was a sword, i'd kill you with it, I never thought the crimson blood shed and trauma would feel so much like home, and only this time would my thoughts reciprocate, in a blur of serenity, a sigh of serendipity, time won't age, my love for naiveness won't ever change, 'cause if your dirty little lies were a sword I'd kill you with it. I never thought that unfaithfulness would be so hard to heal.
If you didn't know death could be sometimes peaceful, if you didn't know, queens could still rule, in the dark, I lit up a candle, a vanilla flame sparks memories younger than eternum's lifted brow, softer than the moon's afterglow, I pray for December to be kind to me, because all months of melancholy tend to be carnivorous, pestiferous, to my open soul, its perpetual tasks are laced within my being.
