No I dug deep I got deep down into every crevice until I was able to unravel the real story of Jack and Jill, I will tell you this that this reporter had to put his life in jeopardy to get the real story and I was almost killed
Now the story was written to hide an old-fashioned crime that very few even knew about but you can read it for a dime
Now Jack wasn't very nice he was mean in fact his heart was covered in ice,
She was always dirty this jill from the streets she was not a fairy princess she like to look like a boy and she loved to swear and cuss she hated being a girl so she never wore a dress
Now the story you're about to be told isn't very nice in fact it's sad about cruelty and brutality I wouldn't even tell it to a pair of little mice
Wherever there is evil then death and destruction will follow right behind they pray on the meek and the disabled who are too scared to go outside because the sun never shines
Now every good reporter that has walked the streets to investigate and to find the truth knows to stay alive you better be fast on your feet
Tonight was no exception it was late on Sunday night and there wasn't much going on no rape no murder no mayhem not even one fight
I went for a walk around the block and at the corner of Main and Dunlop out of the blue I heard two gunshots by the time I heard the third I was on the hop
My great reflex had me on the ground rolling as I fell I thought that was close call but then i felt blood was dripping from my left cheek and boy did it hurt and I began yell
I looked around the streets they're were empty but then I saw Rat he was across the street waving for me come over I met Rat about 10 years ago we were both working on a case about moldy cheese in Dover
Carefully I'm maneuvered myself across the street without being shot Rat was laying on the ground in an empty parking lot
When I got close enough I saw the blood it was pooling by his gut it stop me in my tracks the blood ran from his soldiers down to his butt
I was about ready to call for help when Rat said no I'm already dead he then took his last two breaths and said 7 Jack Jill then he went limp I took my jacket and covered his head
This wasn't my first time I've seen a friend laying in the street stone cold dead each time I do I cry and shake my head
Rat was strange but he did not deserve to die like this he had two adorable kids that in their eyes and hearts they will miss
I heard the sirens and then flashing lights were everywhere like a vegas show the police were efficient and fast they asked me very few questions and then let me go
I went to the ER got me 10 stitches I'm going to have a nice scar a few inches here a few inches there and I would never again drive a car
I wrote the story last night while laying in my bed the pills I got did not stop the pain that was in my head
I went into work right on time this morning to personally hand my story to my editor to earn my dimes
He took his time to read my story when he finished he just shook his head I had the feeling he didn't like me at all he said is there any more I shook my head this is a new record for you boy this week you were really on the ball
I have no choice if you have another week like this I regret to tell you that you'll lose a week's pay and another week you will miss
I was going to retaliate but it would go in one ear and out his big fat butt so I kept my big mouth shut
Then I left the building as fast as I could that man made me look like a clown in front of the staff and that takes a lot to do and on my face I had a big frown
Walking to the bus stop I heard loud a noise that of a truck and I turned my head to see what I saw was a ford 150 coming straight at me
I was quick on my feet and I dived into some thorny bushes that I never wanted to meet
This was getting real and I was pissed I glanced up and saw my editor looking at me so I blew him a kiss
The one thing that that I will never forget are the seven midgets flipping me off as they drove away in the truck they each had white beards and funny looking hats I will firger that picture in my mind like glue it will be stuck
The only clue I had was what Rat said 7 Jack Jill then I started to get dizzy and I fell down to the ground and rolled down the hill
I woke up I was in the hospital again this time it was touch and go all the way the doctors
couldn't find anything wrong with me they said I was dying that was the only thing they had to say
Couple days ago a nurse found a little dart under my ear the doctors examined it and it was poison their worst fear
All the doctors but one said I was dead and they wanted take my body away so they can clean the bed
That one Dr who thought I had a slight chance said if there was enough poison on that dart he could synthetically make an antidote boy was that Dr was smart
While I was in the hospital I was informed that the editor replaced me because he said I was no longer an asset and while I was in the hospital not one day did he come to visit a decision he will soon regret
I was getting a lot better but i asked the doctor about the security guard at my door he looked at me and said someone don't like you anymore
They're were two more attempts on your life while you were out cold in bed whoever's mad at you they want you dead
So until the time you leave this place a gaurd will be by your side no one's going to hurt that face
While I was laid up at the hospital i began researching and what I found should have made me pack my bags and leave town
Things you can find on internet amazes even me it's not easy but the truth is in there you just have to dig it out you see
A good reporter knows how to dig out the truth from all the lies because if he didn't
He wouldn't make any money and all he would do is cry
