Very cold outside
So frigid so cold
The wind not kind
Winter has it's hold
Hands become chilly
Ears also the same
The wind blows swiftly
Winter already came
To brave this air
You must dress warm
Any skin that's bare
May cause you harm
Could cause frostbite
Feeling goes away
It's not a good sight
Turns your day grey
Layers of clothes
And a big warm coat
Mother nature knows
She doesn't need a vote
Gusts blow right through
Straight to the bone
Whatever you do
Try and stay home
