Younger generations look at these lines and this haggered body and they patronise me,
Ounce upon a time I skipped along with these seedings now my shell is all they see,
Now I can barely climb my stairs, my breath and heart go out of beat,
Ounce upon a time I could dance six hours solid without taking a back seat,
My heart now shallow for my soul mate I lost twenty lonely years ago,
Ounce upon a time I was like a deer to her doe,
I wait for the reapor who has visited most of my kins,
Ounce upon a time I had lots of time, who cares about my mortal sins,
I may be haggered but my mind remembers the early days,
Ounce upon a time my choices and paths lead me all ways,
Now my ways only have one ending,
Ounce upon a time my life was mapped in front of me for all I was giving and all I was sending,
I can only prey now my sins were not to hasty,
Ounce upon a time I met my sweetheart and he was "oh so tasty",
I prey one more time we will Jive that mad hatter bunny,
Ounce upon a time we jived the night away " oh how life can be so funny".
