Journey Of A Leaf

Before the winters, in the fall
Alone green leaf on a tree so tall.
The wind was blowing and was dry,
The leaf now knows its time to die.
A splash of water washed its face,
The dews left on it increased its grace.
Finally it fell on the bed of dry leaves,
The leaf being dry, lost its peace.
A gay little girl came in a search,
The Elegance of leaf, her heart was touched.
Drops and pigments and the sand of storm,
Convinced the girl, to take the leaf to home.
She took the leaf, and in her collection she kept,
She showed it to her friends in a beautiful act.
The favorite leaf it became, because of its flaws,
Journey of this leaf deserves an applause.
