The scales of justice weigh heavy,
In this generation's courtrooms and halls,
Where fairness and truth are oft' ready,
But bias and greed still stand tall.
The innocent cry out for mercy,
But the guilty go free with a bribe,
And those without wealth are left to suffer,
While the powerful continue to thrive.
But still, there are those who fight for right,
For the voiceless and the oppressed,
Who strive to bring light to the night,
And bring justice to those who are stressed.
With each day, the fight is renewed,
For a system that is truly just,
Where every voice can be heard,
And every soul is treated with trust.
So let us not give up the fight,
For a justice that is truly blind,
Where all are treated with equal might,
And peace and fairness are not confined.
