I heard them say

With was a driving crowd
Like those going to Ójú élé-égbà
I heard them again saying

Another among them said,

I becoming really tired
My feet became stiff
I got cut in their strife
My eyes roll'd in tears;
Like an eclipse cloud
My voice became faded
My breathe fainted
I still couldn't defined.
Then an angel then came saying
Do not kill him, do not kill him
He is not the one
Look over there, look over there
The criminal is running.
Chase him, chase him
Do not let him get away

Do not let him escape
Do not let him escape.
At that point I remembered;
What my mum always says
"The evil you don't know,
Will not know you"
"I know spoil person own,
Person no go spoil my own".
"Dead wey no be your own,
You no go see am for road"
