How do I deal with this pain I feel
Like a boulder in my chest
Never letting me have rest
This loneliness that surrounds me
I almost feel like I’m drowning
I try to shake it off and keep on going
But I guess the hardest part is
Trying to do it all knowing
You’ll never look at me
The way you look at them
And having to smile
When I say we’ll just be friends
