I remember talks of odd philosophies
Thoughts of all our memories
A time where we were set in peace
Believe it when I say that we were meant to be
If you noticed there's a past tense
Meaning our has been turned had been
Because you wanted other men
Don't get me wrong, what I had for you was true
But you expect me to want you
After you let different dudes run you through
One after another and you still ask for proof
Like you still have a say in what I can and can't do
You come back realizing you shouldn't have left
But the amount of pleading you have left you out of breath
You cry about heartbreak as if it's similar to death
But you did worse to me by letting multiple men in your bed
I waited for you and you never came
But when I left, you treated it as if I was to blame
Speaking like you were still worthy of my last name
Like that ring on your finger was nothing but a game
I'm moving on from the lies
And moving towards the skies
This is the last time I'll say goodbye.
