Kentucky me and you will never be apart
You have something unique
Something I want to keep
Your families stick together
And only get better
Even though in other people's eyes, you didn't have alot
Your not mad at what you got
What you got to other people is small
But you know you got something those city people, didn't get all
Which was perseverance
Love near and at a distance
Giving love filled cooking
Not caring how someone is looking
Kentucky forever you will be my state
Even if at anytime it's the state, other people hate
Because of you I have a Mom and Dad
Which always makes me glad
Your the state where I was born
I think in the USA, you have the best corn
I still remember being born, in a beautiful small Kentucky town
And eating Hot Brown
Kentucky to me, you have been kind
Can't get you off my mind
