In Kenya's land, where the sun beats down,
The government reigns with a troubled crown.
Corruption and strife, a constant refrain,
Leave the people yearning for change.
They promised much, the leaders of state,
But their actions are often a source of debate.
Disparities widen between the rich and poor,
As the government struggles to even the score.
Violence and unrest, a part of the scene,
As the people demand their voices be seen.
From the cities to the rural plains,
A cry for justice forever remains.
The government of Kenya today,
Must listen and act in a new way.
For the people deserve a better life,
Free from oppression and endless strife.
May the leaders of state heed the call,
And work towards a better future for all.
Where equality and justice reign supreme,
And the people's dreams are no longer just a dream.
