You were at a nice dinner when you fell asleep
They chose not to wake you from your deep sleep.
You awake in a world that’s not really your own
You look around but you’re completely alone.
Your time passes slowly as sand flows on by
Then you meet with a cat whose pretty damn high.
He says come to dinner I have a real treat
Something a cat really loves to eat.
When we get there you’ll have to meet
The queen of the kingdom who only acts sweet.
When you get to the table the foods piled high
A servant says eat or you’re going to die.
So you turn to the table to see what is there
There are some little blue fish and a little white hare.
The food on the platters aren’t really dead
Keep that in mind when you’re eating one’s head.
Next time it may be that you’re on the platter
Feeding the queen and the mad hatter.
Being there scares you so you run away
Not realizing the queen wants you to stay.
When the queen’s cards start looking for you
You ask the cat if he knows what to do.
He says do what I say and you’ll get back home
Then he said to follow a little blue gnome.
I guess I’m awake now and it was a dream
Until I look around me and I start to scream.
Staring at me is the cat and the queen
Holding their forks while they ate my spleen.
