If my lack of etiquette is to blame for my low standing, then I will rectify the situation immediately.
Many times in my life, despite my best efforts, I have felt isolated and alone. This is a problem I still face, even after abandoning my past. My wife's work schedule and the abundance of conveniences available to me meant that I never realized how isolated I was. Even though I'm aware of the fact that we shouldn't seek out commentary from the irrelevant, I also recognize that there are times when I fail at this because, for whatever reason (perhaps because I want permission, favor, or even just a little acknowledgment from here), I always seem to do the wrong things whenever my heart gets vulnerable, and my shortcoming is the constant sense of isolation and longing I experience regardless of how well I'm doing. When I trip and fall, I often find myself right where I started. It's been tough, and I'm not going to sugarcoat it: I messed up. I keep telling myself that my dreams don't amount to anything, but I can't help but wonder why that isn't the case.
