Today on the 11th day
A pet was given to me
She's so tiny at a year old
For pounds she might weigh three,
I've been needing a companion
A pet to be responsible for
I'm so relaxed with her
Who can want or need more.
She's a miniature Chihuahua
Black with a white chest
When it comes to playtime
She's at her high energy best,
I've already taught her fetch
To dance for a treat
Holding her in my arm
Makes my soul feel complete,
So now I'm feeling more happy
Mind filled with new energy
Over the next couple of days
You'll see me back to the old me.
Without any responsibly
There's so much we lack
Happiness, Stability, Calm
My joy's a Chihuahua that's black.
