When they see me down the street
all they see is oppression
But little do they know that
my hijab is an expression of my
faith,modesty and liberty
They don't understand that my hijab is part of me
My identity
Not an invitation of violence
It's just my outfit
They know me not for what's inside
They judge the clothing I wear with pride
Simply because of the way am dressed!!!
I'm no man's slave
But I obey the laws of my Lord
For Allah Himself I put it on
Hijab covers my head Not my brain 🧠
