My pace may be slower, but my steps are true, The direction I take is what matters to me, not the speed I do. For though I may wander and take my own time, my heart and my journey will always be mine.
I'll stop for a moment, to take in the view, and admire the beauty that this world can imbue. I'll listen to the rustling of the leaves in the trees and feel the wind blowing, with its gentle breeze.
I'll savor each moment of my journey on this path, And bask in the knowledge that this is where I belong. For I know that my journey is much more than a race, and that the destination is not the end of the chase.
So I'll keep walking, with a heart full of peace, and know that my pace is just right for me. For the direction I take, it is the most important thing, and my journey is what brings my heart to sing.
