Laws

Death where are thy stunts
Hate where went your sting
Sin give me your pleasure
For repentance awaits afar
I melted the snow but still I blaze
I buried his rights yet they grew
Who made these laws to stand
I was told err is to human but
Didn't think forgiveness was still divine
The hearts of men became black as coal
As rusty and horrid as decayed flesh
Our guilt, nothing can wash
But we did our best in hiding it far away
Where nothing could break
Yet another law came, promising to expose us
It is always out, in as much as we tried
This is cruel, who made this law?, I ask again
Would have given anything for its ruin
But I think it's for us all, a theme of mad surprise
And  indeed karma's gift to men, I guessed
When you get yours, know why you planted thus
Nurse your pain, cling to your gain and move again
This is what echoed in my mind, as the start of a great life.
