The cursor blinks, unheeding my rage,
As I pound the keys, my anger mounts,
Leaving words on a page.
I curse the program, its outdated gauge,
Its glitches and bugs, its countless accounts,
The cursor blinks, unheeding my rage.
I personify it, a stubborn sage,
Mocking my efforts, it cruelly taunts,
Leaving words on a page.
I try to reset, a futile engage,
Frustrated, defeated, my temper mounts,
The cursor blinks, unheeding my rage.
I wish for a hammer, a vicious adage,
To smash this machine, make it recount,
Leaving words on a page.
But alas, I pause, take a deep breath, and gauge
My response, realizing I must surmount,
The cursor blinks, unheeding my rage,
Leaving words on a page.
