Help me.
For I cannot see,
I cannot hear anything,
Other than the wringing in my ears.
I am in the dark,
Left here by loved ones,
Family and friends.
There are many other people in here,
But I cannot find them.
Soon I will be out of the dark,
And I hope that I'll move towards the light.
I miss my sight,
I miss the sound of laughter filling the room.
Most of all, I miss you.
The one that I feel most betrayed by,
For some reason,
I miss you.
I seem to blame myself for all of this.
I cannot seem to move,
Out here in the dark.
I cannot yell,
For no one can hear me.
I am left here,
All alone,
In the pitch black darkness,
That I now have to call home.
