Letgo My Ego

Where I stand
No one is better than the other.
We're all supposed to love
Our sisters and brothers.
You point your fingers
Judging by your pride.
But, have we not all
fell short when we've tried?
You say it's blindness outside of love,
When you dangle the string I can't see above.
I don't have or contain
any kind of psychic power,
I can't guess what you
so casually devour.
If my absence away
on here offends,
It's because I always work
trying to meet ends.
I love you even when
you don't deserve it,
Enough casting blame
you should curve it.
Shame on you
for saying I have pride,
When I know that
I'm nobody inside.
Ok, go ahead,
I'll plug up my toaster,
Since, you want
to keep being a roaster.
I'll push your pride down
to heat up below,
So, when it pops up you can say
"Letgo my Ego".
