Beautiful streets are alone
with silence from afar, wishing to hear
a thousand footsteps
trodding with fun and laughter
The quietness in the air, is a sign
of less people moving around
The fall of the mid -day, show
the shadows of objects,
cars, buses, van's, trams, trains, tractors
motorbikes and lorries
have stood still, no movement in sight.
