The success of wealth have remotely
blinded our vision and thinking
To acknowledge the change and suffering of human beings, less fortunate
to climb the ladder, to achieve ther goal
Nations have enslaved their people
to fill the rich man's pocket
with precious gold and sliver
Stock markets have stocked bonds
to deliver, dividends
to enrich the people with power,
to manipulate, undermine, discriminate, suppress, control, discredit and destroy
the foundation of the common people.
The world is on stand by and lockdown
Looking, thinking, wondering, crying and searching deep within our thoughts
for a simple answer to relieve our painful heart
Community spirit of love and care has swept the nation
To show our love, appreciation, courage and gratitude to our fellow citizens
kindness has arisen in the heart of our people.
People are together, talking, laughing and worrying about tomorrow
and hoping we will see a better day
We took life for granted, never taking time to understand
The power, value, friendship, families and
the beauty of the little things
that matter, The Most,
Until all of a sudden.
People have seen and witnessed
the inequalities and injustices
that mankind has inflicted on the earth
Stop for a minute, look around and you will see the beauty and creativity of the things
human beings have achieved.
Take note my brothers and sisters
every story has been recorded
in the invisible book of life
Mountains, seas, oceans, and trees
have witnessed the changes from
generation to generation,
they have stood the test of the time
