I had a talk with a friend today who claims to be religious. I myself am religious also. we did not compare bible to bible it was more of a debate about a spirit and a soul. Although she does believe in a soul. She didn't understand my point. I told her a spirit and a soul are like a laptop. The spirit being the brain of the so called laptop. Processes information, it receives from learning through experience. Albeit, books, TV, movies, songs etc, anything of influence. Even talking to another person the brain (spirit) processing all this stuff and needs to store somewhere, just like the laptop. Or it will overload ( insanity ).So, the soul ( memory ) is where the spirit ( brain ) stores processed information
The soul ( memory ) in turn sorts out all these things into feelings ( data bytes). Then when the spirit ( brain ) needs this feeling ( data bytes )it pulls it from the soul( memory, feelings) and processes it yet again through conversation. This is where the soul ( feelings ) along with heart ( motherboard ) comes into play.
When the heart ( motherboard ) attaches an answer to a feeling it's sent to the spirit ( brain ) for the final word. The heart never lies but the brain can cause the tongue to lie or tell the truth. you cannot serve two master's.
