Letter to Virginia

I feel like crying
I'm here sighing
Virgina I miss you
I miss your Brunswick stew
Your beauty, I see in the sky
I love your delicious cherry pie
I never cared about the material things I couldn't gain
Because some how, I grew up, without pain
You never made pain, be the one for me to store
In you, there was always a cure
As my state, virginia your the only one
It's your state my family was from
Love is better than money
Love is even sweeter than honey
All I remember, are good times
I don't remember any crimes
Family was always there
It wasn't hard, to find someone, that does care
Virginia, you need to know this fact
Which is that
You made virginians have alot of empathy
Sympathy
By letting us go through hardship
To push us not to survive, but live
Writing this letter
Makes me feel better
I can now cope
Even hope
One day you and me Virginia will reuinite
And everything will be alright
