As I sit, it's quiet. The sound of the bustling city is drowned out by the heavy oak doors.
Amongst the silence are the sounds of pages turning and people chatting, like the sound of leaves on the wind.
With a sigh, the books surround me, hovering at my fingertips. I think of a topic, and books fly off the shelves, like a king's servants, serving me knowledge.
O books! That you would stay with me till the day I die! Solomon himself would praise the building's contents! Even the sopping shreds sing sweet songs of symphonious pleasure!
As I pass through the oak doors, the magic fades, as I am surrounded by loud people,
cars and crazy life.
