A pretty little face he said.
Sweet and kind.
Lips like velvet he said that he admired.
No longer to answer my calls.
Disappeared in the dust as a distant memory.
Lies he had told.
Cheating is all that he knew.
Faith I had in a man who once called me beautiful.
Touch my heart so I thought.
I thought he saw my soul for who I really was.
Perfect he seem with the words that he spoke.
Reheased is all that it was.
Another dame another day.
Just another girl check off his list.
Another guy another trick.
I thought I was special.
Something he needed.
He was searching just for lust not for love.
For the game that he plays.
Hunting for treasure it seems.
A tool he used me for, he didnt see me.
An object is all that he saw.
An empty heart, and lost soul is what he is.
But my heart is breaking, for I know love.
I thought that he cared.
He seem so genuine.
Perfect I thought.
How could he say loved me then say it to another?
A word that means so much just to throw it around.
I should of seen it.
Came so easy for him to speak it.
A shame another one loved and gone.
So much deceit how will I ever know lust from love?
This game of broken hearts I hate.
So much pain just to find the one.
One day I'll be seen for the beauty I am.
Broken I still am.
