I was taught never to lie
I was crying when my lips had to bid you goodbye.
The promises you made, you broke them.
When you slept around with my best friend.
You thought I would never find out.
That you played me, but I always loved you with doubt.
I knew my heart never really belonged to you.
I always felt that you weren't telling me the truth.
Lies under our covers that you hid from my heart.
You thought you were Mr. Wonderful, but you tore our world apart.
Words don't mean much to you.
Because when I said " I love you, you said them back to."
Then out comes the truth.
