This wasn't how I have being
Those little ones could tell of me
'Them' , cause they often were there
Though they might or couldn't here
They were the ones I sing to
Though they are beyond my reach
Then, I wished to have one of them
The way they twinkle so amazing
I was happy in my little own ways
I only, by then know good days
I wake, eat, walk around my world
I noticed the love around
I see my guards doing their work
I get, rather surprises, but no shock
Not knowing until you happened
Knowing not your identity, fooled me
You came, and took away my morning still early not even to noon
Yes you did, exactly when I was about to know what I had and was enjoying
You only said you are adolescent
Only you and I knows how it went
Slowly, I began to lose all I begot
Suddenly, I lost my face of a saint
You opened the book to another page
Afterwards you change ur focus
Your taste changed too
You came for my innocence
Actually you became possessive
You altered my body.
Things you said I need, you gave
The ones I had, you revamped
When I asked, you silently said
Puberty is part of what you offer
Your gift were with caution.
Some you can't share nor show to mother or brothers
As I'm destined to, I got wised up on you
You never again get to take me by surprise
Perhaps you are ready, bring it on
Let me guess the next on your to do list, responsibilities, expectations, obstacles winning, gaining and losses, as long as it may be
I know you now, no more surprises, except you ll do least
Your Name is LIFE
In you we age and strife.
