Life is a race

I remember far back
When I was just a kid.
Dreaming the dreams about life,
Living the life about rife.
Hanging through the night like a cold breeze,
Lost in thoughts,
Depressed in mind,
And restless in motion,
As if life is a race.
I remember,
Yes I remember,
When vision stepped on my mind,
Walked through my heart,
And left me hopeless.
I am now on the edge of confusion,
Wondering as if my lively journey on earth is over.
I remember now and beyond,
Doubt was in my head,
Knocking on my brain,
And running through my veins
Pressuring my action and decision,
Like if dust and bone were friends,
Pouring the structure of my future,
As if Life is a race.
