Here I am standing tall
Hoping I never fall.
Things have been pretty stable in my life.
My health, in the past went through sorrowful strife.
Yes I have been through many deaths in my family the passed few years.
Yes it has brought me to tears.
But through it all, I'm still here.
My treasure is having family near.
I'm breathing, I'm happy, I'm alive
I'm healthy, I survived
You have to appreciate what you have before it goes away.
You should try to smile everyday.
The sun is shining on me tonight.
There's laughter in my life.
I look up to the stars
I still wonder where you are
Would you be proud of me today.
Would you have beautiful things to say.
Would we of been still close mother, dear.
I wonder if you are watching over me and when I pray, I wonder if you hear.
