When life feels bleak and all alone,
And darkness lingers, a heavy stone,
It's easy to feel lost and scared,
And wonder if anyone really cared.
The wounds we bear, the scars we hide,
Can seem like too much to bear inside,
But still we fight, we hold on tight,
And pray for hope to shed some light.
We rage and scream, we feel so wronged,
And wonder why we can't be strong,
But even in the depths of pain,
We can find the courage to sustain.
The road ahead may be unclear,
And we may feel like giving in to fear,
But still we push, we try to cope,
And cling to every shred of hope.
And when the end is drawing near,
And we can feel it, so very clear,
We try to make our peace with fate,
And find the strength to embrace the weight.
For in the end, we are not alone,
And even when our time has flown,
We leave behind a legacy,
Of love and light and bravery.
So when my world comes crashing down,
And all my hopes and dreams are drowned,
I'll find the courage to let go,
And trust that love will help me grow.
