Tell by heart all your woes,
and earn no compunction matching thus
Sing to your shoulders, your pain
and learn you how life is so much a vain;
teach your loves your deepest tale,
and learn them how life is so pale
draw to you the greatest care,
and ward your peers off their fears
give to her, her young night
the moon revealing love performing sight
take to ease your troubled soul
or give no room for such a hurting goal
care not to bring to you your past,
Or take not your past as repast
crave for you your dreaming crave,
and cautious not to end your crave in early grave
but by all, seek wisdom to all these sayings
for they are or they should, all livings,
mighty guide amidst the throng
Of life; seeking to draw men to their wrong.
