Sometimes, life slaps me on my face,
It slaps so hard
That my tounge of ego is slashed up
Bringing out
The hidden tongue of humbleness
Breaking my milk teeth of arrogance
To expose
Discipline- the permanent teeth
Tearing the eardrum of the evident ear
And healing the internal eardrum
That hears the voice of soul and God
Bringing out tears
That dissolves and expels the dirt of ignorance
Giving me better view-- view of the unseen
The pain giving hundreds of experiences
That no teacher gives us
After all
It's the lesson given to me by God
